The 5th Annual Scarefest located at The Exchange Hotel in Gordonsville. This hotel was classified as the 14th most haunted place in the USA and the 2nd most haunted place in Virginia. There are 3 attractions this year, the Candlelight Tour in the museum, the Trail of Terror and the Tent of Torture. All proceeds go back into the Exchange. The dates this year are 10/15, 10/21, 10/22, 10/28 and 10/29. Hours are 8pm to midnight each night and tickets are $10/person.

Haunted Trail Walk is a new haunted experience in Central Virginia. Located in a town known for it's ghosts: Scottsville, just 30 minutes south of Charlottesville and 1 hour west of Richmond. There are 9 acres of Haunted Trails wrought with frightening scenarios: exposure to the undead is at every corner. The goal is to keep your head (no pun intended), and try to make it out unscathed.

Lynchburg, VA

Scaremare presents fun-house rooms and scenes of death in order to confront people with the question "What happens after I die?" Groups of people experience a 40-minute journey, passing through creepy trails, dark woods and eventually entering the House. At the end of the experience, visitors are presented with an answer to this question and given the message of Jesus Christ.
